If you download a million rows, Excel may crash. Use a text editor like VS Code or a data tool like Python (Pandas) to process large CSV files.
Poll the GET /messages/download/{download_id} endpoint to check the status.
For developers or data analysts needing to automate the download process, the Export API is the standard solution. This allows you to programmatically request a CSV or JSON file of your activity.
SendGrid will process the request and email you a link to download the file once it is ready.
