Ghidra requires JDK 17 or later (64-bit). Amazon Corretto or OpenJDK are the most common choices.
Windows 7/10/11, modern Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.), or macOS. Step 1: Install the Java Development Kit (JDK) Ghidra will not run without a compatible Java environment.
Select the latest ghidra_X.X.X_PUBLIC_YYYYMMDD.zip file.
If prompted, browse to the root folder of your JDK installation (e.g., C:\Program Files\Amazon Corretto\jdk17.x.x ). User Agreement: Read and accept the Terms of Control.
On the first launch, Ghidra may ask for the path to your JDK.
