Garmin MapSource is a legacy software application used to view, manage, and transfer geographic data—such as waypoints, routes, and tracks—between a Windows PC and a Garmin GPS device. While it has largely been replaced by Garmin BaseCamp, MapSource remains vital for users of older "Garmin Mode" devices or those with specific legacy serial port connections.
